Attached is a document containing some additional information and answers
to a few specific questions that some of our stakeholders have asked
regarding Contagious Equine Metritis (CEM) in Georgia. It also provides
links to a number of websites with specific information of interest to
various stakeholders. I would like to see this info on the GQHA website
where it can be accessible to all QH breeders.
I would like to express our appreciation to the horse owners, the
accredited
veterinarians who have participated, the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine
(and GQHA) for distributing information to horse owners. We hope rapid
response will ensure minimal disruption to the up-coming 2009 breeding season
for horse breeders in GA.
